Hawaiian Birds: Bulwer's Petrel

Living in both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, this seabird is named after the Scottish naturalist James Bulwar. It weaves a twisting,erratic flight path as it picks plankton out of the waves. It has very long wings, a pointed tail and mostly brown plumage.
