Sometimes spelled Mynah, the Common or Indian Myna is native to India and is in the Starling family. Introduced in 1865 to the Hawaiian Islands, this bird has a bright yellow beak and eye area. The Myna is omnivorous and normally lives in grasslands and woodlands. It is a serious threat to the ecosystems of Australia. |
