Did you know?	Also known as the African Silverbill, this small member of the finch family is very social and is only about 4 inches long. This bird is an introduced species and is native to the dry,desert regions of northern Africa. When originally discovered in the Hawaiian Islands,it was confused with a relative,the Indian Silverbill.
